We worship the living God . . .
Every Sunday
at 9:00 a.m. we worship God in our contemporary service, The Dawn.
The gospel of Jesus Christ is proclaimed in a casual, relaxed setting,
and our band assists in worship leadership.
Each week at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday we worship God in our traditional
service. The gospel is shared by great hymns of faith, a gifted
choir, and an eighteen-rank pipe organ.
We welcome
our neighbors warmly and invite others to experience the gospel
. . .
Visitors are warmly welcomed at Faith. We are always eager to enlarge
our circle of grace. Please contact our pastor (or any member of
our staff) with questions about our church.
Every two months we sponsor a four-week inquirers' class during
the church school hour to explain our beliefs, our government and
history, and our mission and ministries. If you would like to become
a member, please call or e-mail the church office to learn the dates
of the next class.
We nurture
those in need and enjoy life together as God's people . . .
The deacons of our church are in regular contact with all the members
of our church, offering concern and support in times of need.
We are a Stephen Ministry congregation, with committed, trained
members who are paired with individuals facing crisis, loss or significant
life transition. A Stephen Minister supports, listens to, and prays
with those in need over several weeks or months.
We sponsor a wide variety of small groups, committed to prayer,
sharing, service and study. They meet regularly to encourage one
another and to develop deeper friendships.
We offer a great diversity of fellowship events and groups, ranging
from all-church luncheons, a church picnic, and an annual strawberry
festival to Presbyterian Women circles and Presbyterian Men breakfasts.
We would be glad to share details of our opportunities for women,
men, singles, older adults, widows and widowers, and others.
We grow as
disciples . . .
We offer church school classes for all ages on Sunday mornings,
including care for infants and toddlers and a variety of adult classes.
We also host Wednesday evening classes for adults.
We have active youth groups for middle schoolers (6th-8th grade)
and high schoolers (9th-12th grade).
We host Disciple Bible Study, a nine-month intensive study of the
Bible in which participants are transformed by their experience
of the scriptures.
We offer a LOGOS Program every Wednesday evening (fall, winter and
spring) for the first graders through eighth graders of our church
and community. Each evening includes a tasty meal, a Bible study,
crafts, worship skills, and recreation.
We serve
our community and world . . .
We believe the church exists not for ourselves, but for others,
and we serve in the name of Jesus Christ locally and internationally.
We host homeless families in our church for one week each quarter
through the Interfaith Hospitality Network. Members and friends
of the congregation provide food and welcome our guests.
We have a vital partnership with Westminster Presbyterian Church,
an inner-city congregation. We work weekly to staff their food pantry
and to support their mission in a variety of ways.
We cherish our relationship with Habitat for Humanity, and we participate
regularly in building affordable housing for the homeless of the
area.
We host short-term mission trips in the fall to Puentes de Cristo,
the Presbyterian border ministry in Reynosa, Mexico. Our members
assist with church school classes, building projects, and a local
clinic.
We have a partnership with the Presbyterian Church in Congo. We
send members to Africa occasionally to support and encourage their
work, and we have welcomed representatives of their church to Indianapolis.
